For 5+ years the month of July is one to look forward to. Aside from it being my birthday month, it's also the month when I get to attend Sweet Suite. The biggest night of toy fun, you can check out the fun we had at last years Sweet Suite here. A few things to know about Sweet Suite is that it's an invite only event, it's a night where we get to check out the latest toys to come out just in time for the Holiday Season and that it has become a part of not only my Summer tradition, but also Valentina's. For the past two years kid influencers were allowed to go, which made it possible for her to join me and be a part of a magical night. It's the one thing we always add to our calendar and enjoy counting down to.                                           

This year with COVID19 and making sure that we were all safe, the Sweet Suite team  made the decision to go virtual and boy was it a jam packed day.

Even though the day did not involve walking around, by the end of the first half of Sweet Suite, I was already beat, and needing some sort of snack to keep me up and ready for the second half, which would take place in the evening. It was nice to have some sort of normalcy and see some familiar and friendly faces via computer. I've already seen a few events that have gone virtually and I wasn't sure what to expect since this was my first one. What an experience it was. I'm so grateful to the Sweet Suite team for all of their hard work and bringing us some happiness amidst the craziness that the world is right now.

I know that with everything that is going on, a lot of us parents have holiday shopping last on our list but I also know that for a lot of us we are also trying to give our kids a little normalcy, which is really important, and even though a lot of budgeting will be done. The search for that one gift that can bring a smile to our kids will be what we focus on this holiday season. I also know the importance of finding Educational toys that we can incorporate into remote learning this coming school year, especially when we want to make sure that our children spend their screen less time playing and learning at the same time.
