Our weekend was great it was full of so many activities. On Saturday Miguelito played his last soccer game of the season, after wards we ran back crosstown to go and see Harry Potter : ) It was all I expected and more. I can't get over the fact that the end is almost near : ( and the last Harry Potter installment will come out on July 15,2010.
Sunday was spectacular we were blessed with excellent weather perfect for kid races : ) and a stroll through Central Park in which we got to take in all the beautiful colors : )
As for this week it has been a very busy one full of excitement and anticipation. Work has been crazy and I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that the school administration accepts my idea regarding reading to kids who come from non-speaking English homes. Once we get back to school next week I will be working hard to push that program along. For now I have to work hard on getting more parents on board.
Thanksgiving is just 2 days away and already the city is bustling with the anticipation of the Macy's Thanksgiving parade : ) We are so excited! I get to take Miguelito out from school early tomorrow so we can go see the balloon inflation and then come home to go to sleep super early to go get a good spot at the Thanksgiving parade and after wards run home to do some cooking - Phew I'm tired already but oh so happy : )
Plus my Humbe is off from work so it will really be a happy Thanksgiving - Yay!
This will be one of the best Thanksgiving's ever full of magic and weddings ; D
Just in case I don't get to log in tomorrow. I wish everybody a very Happy Thanksgiving full of love and happiness. Eat lots of turkey - you only get to eat it once a year - Ha! And most important enjoy your loved ones : )

I love your idea of reading to non-English speaking kids. I have an A.S. in preschool teacher training and used to work as an instructional aide in a special education class. I loved it!
Take care Kary!
